Sometimes God brings people into our lives to teach us lessons we’d have learned no other way, to be the salt that preserves until we’re ready for our right partners, to be a bridge that helps us cross certain valleys…
God can use unexpected means to provide for His people. As long as God has ordained a brook, bird or business to provide for His people in a certain season, nothing will stop Him. He can even multiply the little we have to be enough for us!
“Give honor to marriage and remain faithful to one another in marriage. God will surely judge people who are immoral and those who commit adultery.” Hebrews 13:4
Sometimes the temptation to cheat comes because our spouses are not treating us right, because of personal addictions or because we want to achieve some goal, but cheating is never a sustainable solution to any problem.
It feels nice to flirt, flatter, fondle and fornicate with someone other than a spouse but the bitter pill of the consequences of cheating wipes out all the pleasures and leaves a sour taste for the rest of one’s life.
Any sexual sin or satisfaction outside marriage is adultery – kissing, one-night stand, pornography, flirting in person or online. Any emotional affair that replaces or attracts anything or anyone else other than your spouse counts as adultery.
Would you rather risk and press forward to the roadblock and hope to be let through OR you’d do your best to meet the conditions for the identity card and have it with just in case the roadblock is here?
Therefore, we learn contentment through being grateful for what we have and refusing to complain, compare and compete with others.
At every stage and state of your life, there is someone who desires to get where you are and have what you have because it represents success to them. At the same time, there is another who despises what you are and have because it represents failure.
