Would You Save Your Life At The Soldiers’ Roadblock?

It’s wartime. The enemy has invaded your country.

You have no papers yet you’re told there is a roadblock ahead where you must confirm your identity before you pass. Otherwise, you’ll be regarded as a rebel and executed on the spot.

A friend introduces you to someone who issues the identity card you need but you have several conditions to fulfill.

Would you rather risk and press forward to the roadblock and hope to be let through OR you’d do your best to meet the conditions for the identity card and have it with just in case the roadblock is here?

Today, many people live like heaven and hell, God and Satan are not real. Yet they know death is the roadblock everyone must pass through.

What will you do when you meet God face to face on the other side yet you ignored his conditions to enter heaven? Would you rather risk spending eternity in hell than accept God’s way of saving your soul?

Consider what Jesus said,

“I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one can come to the Father except through me.” John 14:6

“I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God.” John 3:3

“And what do you benefit if you gain the whole world but lose your own soul? Is anything worth more than your soul?” Matthew 16:26

Jesus is your identity card to pass the roadblock of eternal death and spend eternity with the God who formed in your mother’s womb.

Do you have Him? Are you walking as He walked?
