Sexual Purity

My concern is that World AIDS Day may just be another day for some parents and churches yet HIV/AIDS affects all of us.

After circumcision when the men were still in pain, two of Dinah’s brothers stormed the city and killed every male. This happened thousands of years ago but the same repeats in every generation. Hanging out with the wrong friends has landed many young people into harmful habits that lead to ruin.

Prayer is a lifestyle. So is spiritual warfare. Every minute you live, the spiritual battle rages on. The conversations you have and your daily conduct, either dress (arm) or undress (disarm) you for battle!

When I was single, a young lady next door liked to come over to watch Nigerian movies in the evenings. We’d talk a lot, and I began getting crazy and sinful ideas.

As Christians, we’re in great danger if we see the filth on Tv, Tiktok, movies, and feel nothing. That means we’ve accepted and conformed to the standards of the world rather than be transformed by the renewing of our minds.

When God is mentioned around the topic of sex, it kills the joy and the fun of it for some people. We tend to associate sex with modernity and God with old civilizations.
Yet sex is God’s idea.

I believe avoiding her saved me from a lot of regrets and trouble. Who knows, she could have been a devil’s agent sent to eliminate me! That’s a scary possibility!

Despite your past and wrong choices, God is willing to restore, renew and reprogram your thinking so you can know and walk in your true identity in Jesus. Will you let Him help you?

You can’t put yourself in a position of being “turned on” and not engage in sex sooner or later. Every action that stimulates you sexually is adding firewood to a fire that eventually burns what’s precious to you.

The most annoying thing about sexual sins is attempting to fulfil a temporary and unquenchable sexual desire in a few minutes and opening a door to permanent lifetime consequences!
