Dear African Youth|When Life’s Hustle Gets Tough|REMEMBER THESE 7 THINGS
#1: Give Your Best In Everything You Do Daily
Excellence is learned with practice and discipline. Going the extra mile as you serve others makes you stand out wherever you go.
Go to bed every night with the satisfaction that you made the most of that day.
#2: Guard Your Soul
Never ever sell your soul for pennies, pleasure, power and properties. The sanity and sanctity of your soul (mind, heart and conscience) are the foundation of everything else you need and desire to build in future.
Sell your soul, and you’re dead. Guard your soul and your future is bright.
#3: Stay On Your Lane In Life
Never compare or compete with your peers. None of them was there when your mother pushed you out of her womb and none will be there when you breathe your last breath. Learn from those ahead of you and be an example for those behind you.
Focus on your journey and enjoy the process life takes you through.
#4: Grow In Your Purpose
Pay attention to the health of your mind, body, spirit and relationships each day. Investing in personal growth will give you momentum to accomplish your life’s purpose and assignment.
Invest your time wisely. You won’t stay young forever.
#5: Remember Your Creator
It’s Him who gives life and takes it away. It’s Him who promotes and demotes. It’s Him to love and fear. And when this life is done, you’ll stand before Him to be judged or rewarded. He is your source of identity.
The One who made you loves you and desires you to know Him.
#6: Never Give Up No Matter How Tough It Gets
There is hope only for those who fight to the end. Face every challenge – studies, poverty, unemployment, failure, heartbreak, bereavement – with courage and good cheer. As a soldier, prepare for war on the battlefield of life. Africa needs your talents, gifts and skills.
You’re blessed to be a blessing. Don’t give up.
#7: You’re Responsible For Your Actions
Think before you speak and act because every action you take has a consequence and every decision you make has a +ve or -ve outcome. So be smart and sober.
When you’re not sure, seek counsel. Why waste time and resources learning from your mistakes when you can learn from those who went before you?
Please avoid clubbing, gambling, dangerous rioting, drugs, alcohol, gangs and sexual immorality. You live only once and life is too fragile to risk it in useless things.
I believe in you. Africa believes in you.
Go out there and make your Creator and continent proud.
